--identify
--identify
get IMEI, manufacturer, model, product name and revision.
Help needed: if you own a Nokia and "Model" prints a code similar to RM-146 instead of the commercial name of the phone please report this issue to the gnokii mailing list or to the bug tracker of your distribution showing the version of gnokii, the output of gnokii --identify (the IMEI is not needed), the name of the phone as printed on the box and a link to phone page at http://www.forum.nokia.com/devices/
--entersecuritycode
--entersecuritycode {PIN|PIN2|PUK|PUK2|SEC}
asks for the code and sends it to the phone.
Since gnokii 0.6.25 --entersecuritycode can be followed by another gnokii command but this other command can fail if phone is busy reading the SIM.
The SEC option is available since gnokii 0.6.28.
To enter pin non-interactively, see the gnokii-init-modem script
--getsecuritycode
--getsecuritycode
shows the currently set security code.
--getsecuritycodestatus
--getsecuritycodestatus
show if a security code is needed.
--getlocksinfo
--getlocksinfo
show information about the (sim)locks of the phone: the lock data, whether a lock is open or closed, whether it is a user or factory lock and the number of unlock attempts.
